This study included the assessment of natural disaster risks, including earthquakes and soil liquefaction, in addition to typhoons, floods, rain-induced landslides, storm surges, and sea level rise. The assessment profile serves as a basis to formulate proposed Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) and Disaster Risk Reduction Management (DRRM) measures for the areas surveyed in Turtle Islands, Palawan.
Contents include the following:
- Baseline Profile (Physiographic, Hydrological, Geological features, Land Cover, and Land Use)
- Socioeconomic survey
- Hazard and risk-mapping
- Hazard susceptibility assessment (Flood, Landslide, and Earthquake-Related Hazards)
- Hazard exposure assessment (Population Exposure to Flood, Landslide, and Sea Level Rise of 1.0 – 6.0 m)
- Physical and biological features of the islands as well as topographic maps
